Started in 2019, John and Alan are partners in Rocking Chair Farm. Born from John wanting to do something different to make his conventional cattle farming operation more sustainable, and Alan chewing his ear off about regenerative and holistic methods of agriculture. Together they started converting our Marshdale farm into a diversified, regenerative farming venture.

We sell the best quality, ethically raised grass fed meat and eggs from our farm direct to you. Available throughout the year to order; whole or halves of Angus beef or Australian White lamb. We also have pastured eggs available from The Tinshed Dungog, Dungog Wholefood Co-op and Dungog Providors

We are continually working to find the best ways to produce the best quality animals and products while improving the land we are looking after. We are involved with the LLS, MLA, and our local farming community to conduct trials and experiments to prove regernative agricultural practices work and are sustainable both environmentally and financially.

We are proud to be one of the first farms in Australia, and the first in NSW, to be awarded Carbon Credits for our improvements in soil carbon through Agriprove.
